Founded in 2006 by a group of seasoned performers, directors, writers and technicians who were tired of producing old "community theater" fare, the Players sought to do great theater for the local area, but do theater in non-traditional ways.
Their first venture, a pair of one-acts by local playwright and company founder Joseph Wallace, was produced "comedia" style, with actors changing character and costumes in full-view of the audience.
